”WHAT IF HE DIDN’T LEAVE ME?” Dear Move On 101, 2014 was the most devastating time of my life. My long-time boyfriend Paul left me for a girl he met online. I asked myself, "How can he throw our relationship to the window for a woman he barely knows?" I must admit, it took me over a year to accept the reality that we can no longer be together and that Paul is happy with someone else. Misery engulfed me. But I have no choice at that time but to let go... Last Christmas, my girl friends arranged a blind date with a man they taught was compatible with me. I had no expectations when I met Jess but he turned out to be a gentleman. I wasn't really attracted at him at first but he patiently courted me. He's not your typical guy-- he's sweet, family-oriented, God-fearing, kind, and driven in everything that he does. I knew exactly that I found the man of my dreams in him. I still couldn't believe how things are turning out for us. He asked me to accompany him to Punta Fuego for a site inspection and took me to the beach to ask for my hand last week. To my surprise, our close friends and our parents were all there to witness his marriage proposal! It was a perfect scene from a romantic film, I thought, only this time I am the lead character. I know Move On 101 is for the brokenhearted and I thought it's best that I share my story to inspire other women. They should not give up and waste their life being depressed and bitter.
